BRAFA 25 is coming up. By the way, it is the 70th edition of this international art fair.
On our stand (no 21), we focus on tapestries weaving a continuation to the ‘Eternal Spring’ exhibition at the Hof van Busleyden, Mechelen.

In the line of ‘Eternal Spring’, we present tapestries that depict nature in a myriad of ways.

Millefleurs with fox and hare, Southern Netherlands, possibly Sint-Truiden, 1525-1550

Cabbage leaf verdure with bird, Southern Netherlands, possibly Oudenaarde, Geraardsbergen or Enghien, 1550-1575
A modern tapestry by Jean Arp, Aubusson, also draws full on organic form in green hue.
Birds, wolves, a lion, a monkey, deer, camels, a fox, a rhinoceros and even a dragon enjoy these delightful gardens with us.
